This scan allows your chiropractor to identify areas and patterns of abnormal stress in the motor nerves that may create tension, poor posture, and misalignment in the musculoskeletal system. Areas of muscular imbalance are measured and mapped so that changes can be monitored over time.
The Insight sEMG technology is similar to the technology used in EKG heart rate measurement machines. One primary difference is that the Insight sensors are 1,000 times more sensitive since the paraspinal muscles generate less electrical activity than the heart muscle.
